Aardvark?!?!
You could have said ANT!! Hahahaha :)
Hahahaha, I swear "ant" didn't even cross my mind. The second thing that popped into my head was "antelope". :p
I must point out that saying the word "aardvark" implies that you deal with words on a regular basis - either you're a linguist, a writer, a reader, or an academic at heart. I mean, how many other people would carry around the notion of "the first word in the dictionary" in their heads? :)
"how many other people would carry around the notion of "the first word in the dictionary" in their heads?"
It wasn't that, actually. It was more of a Sesame Street instinct. The very first time I saw-- or heard of-- an aardvark was on that show. :)
