Something I got from Sel Uy's blog

The thing with having access to so many blogs of college kids is that I come across a lot of "memes" and surveys. Most are pointless and seem downright silly, but occasionally I feel like indulging in pointless silliness (especially when I'm too lazy to blog about more serious stuff but wish to keep up with my monthly blog post quota). Anyway, this one isn't really all that silly, and seeing as how it's 3 in the morning as I type this, I find it timely, at least.

I find it curious that, among the characters of South Park, you've only pinpointed Stan as a favorite. I mean, what does Stan have that Kyle hasn't got? And what about Kenny? I like Kenny. :)

EVERYone likes Kenny. :p But he doesn't talk, and I find it harder to get attached to a non-talking character. :) I'm not sure why I prefer Stan over Kyle though... maybe because he has a cuter hat? Haha.

Nobody seems to like Cartman, I must point out. But then again, he's not exactly in the running for "best personality". :)

I always drink ginger ale when I'm flying too! I have no idea how this little habit of mine started (maybe my mom introduced it to me when I was a kid?) but that's what I always order on the airplane! ; ) haha

By the way, I just finished reading "The View From Saturday"...I got curious because of your blog. haha I loved it! It was so clever and I love the little jokes that the author snuck in. Now, I'm going to spread some turtle love and get others to read it too. haha

I think I developed a taste for ginger ale because of my mom too. In fact I recall that the very first time I had ginger ale was on a trip to Japan with her, when she ordered it for me at a steak restaurant. :)

Yay, another The View From Saturday fan! Yes, by all means spread the turtle love! You might want to read Konigsberg's other books, like From the Mixed-up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler, A Proud Taste for Scarlet and Miniver, and The Second Mrs. Giaconda (I saw copies of the latter available at Fully Booked Serendra). :)
