A fine metaphor for the true state of our nation
A good three weeks and several smashed orange roadblocks later, would you believe the manhole along Santolan in front of Camp Crame is STILL uncovered?!?

Yes, I would believe. It's not surprising that such a manhole would be left the way it is--uncovered. Don't worry, maybe in a few months they'll get to work on that. It took months to cover up the manhole near Sta. Clara Church, just under the flyover in Katipunan going to Ateneo. ;)
Oh, LOL.
I'm not surprised, but very saddened. And it's in front of Camp Crame.
I think they're waiting for someone to fall in. Must be some sort of high-tech security measure the PNP is testing on unsuspecting motorists passing outside Crame. It's reassuring to know that our country's peace and order is in such capable hands. Makes me sleep more soundly at night.
