In mourning

I received some devastating news last Saturday night...

My sister (reading a text message from Auntie Nene, our favorite gossipmonger): Hey, Matt Damon got married.

Me (in a scream of pure anguish):
NO-OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

My sister (rolling her eyes): As if you had a chance!

Good point. Sniffle.

Share in my heartbreak.

Why are all the good men taken?! We are experiencing a scarcity of good men in the world :( The supply of good women exceed the supply of good men. Why? Cause the good men are either not Chinese, too short, GAY, or taken. Haha!

Hear, hear! Is it any wonder we rest our hopes on impossibly unattainable, drop-dead gorgeous (AND taken, grumble grumble) celebrities?

When Orlando Bloom marries Kate Bosworth I'm sending the MIC sisters my application. xp

Karen: Excuuuuuse me, I would never teach my students the wrong usage of who and whom. Don't make me disown you. xp

And who says you can't delete your comments? I've done it before on other people's blogspots.

Jen: You know me far too well. ;p

Sorry, but *BARF*!!! You like Orlando Bloom? The Y-Chromosome Lacking One? Hahaha...

I wasn't a Damon fan until he played Jason Bourne. Intensity is hot. He's the thinking woman's man, too. Hahhhvahd, anyone?

Ooohhh... and Harry Connick Jr. was almost cast as Gambit in the X-Men movies. Uhm. Moldy oldie.

You guys are so-ooo mean to my Orly. Hmph. Oh well. At least I have less competition (again, as if I have a chance! haha).

As for the talented Mr. Damon, Good Will Hunting was what did it for me. Emotionally confused, brilliant bad boy. Just my type of guy. And those abs were a yummy bonus. Haha.

Yeah, I heard about Harry almost getting cast as Gambit (who will forever be my favorite comic book hottie). I think he would have been perfect for the role... ten years ago. :p Harry's still sexy but in a more... mature way ("moldy" is too mean! xp).
