Crushed
My sister calls it a Greek tragedy. I don't want to talk about it.
But I need some form of catharsis or I'll implode, so I have to let it all out here. It's actually pretty pathetic how stunned-furious-depressed I was when I found out (I made my best friend Raqs tell me before I watched the show). I don't know if it's because I have become completely addicted to the show or if it was my Constantine fixation, but his getting kicked off (very prematurely, I might add) really hurt.
Gawd. I have to get a life.
In a lame attempt to justify my emotions, I guess it's because unlike last year, my favorite actually had a real shot at winning (I had a weird crush on Matt Rogers from last season; he was the second to leave from the final 12). To see Constantine leave so early, ahead of other contestants I abhor, just pisses me off. It's not even about Scott anymore. It's about losing someone I adored. Melodramatic, but honest.
Strangely, watching the elimination episode made me feel a bit better. Constantine had a great send-off, and they actually let him finish his swan song. And he looked hot in that white shirt (pure lust, Shirley, pure lust ;p).
The only thing left at this point is to a) root for Bo and b) put hexes on the other contestants.
P.S. Congratulations Nicole! Your Miracle Boy made it! I'll leave his hex for last. :)

I don't watch AI.. but early in the afternoon, I saw that Constantine was top in the Asia votes.. and Scott was last :D :) :P

Is Matt Rogers the teacher from last season? I thought he was really cute too.

When I was watching the encore of that epsiode, it was either Anthony or Constantine right? I almost texted Nicole (Sy) who happens to be galavanting around Europe right now, and she strictly ordered us NOT to text her, unless it was an emergency, because she's ABSOLUTELY in love with Anthony. She wrote a whole entry about how his body's changed and stuff, it's funny.
I mourn the elimination of Constantine, he was just hot.

Welcome, Cris! :) I think you're referring to Matthew Metzger, who was also a cutie. Matt Rogers got into the final 12, he was the big football player. I loved him because he seemed like such a fun, cheerful guy and he would be nice to hug (because he was such a huge teddy bear! haha).
Yeah, I know how much Nicole adores Anthony, so I was happy for her when Anthony survived last week's elims. I don't know how much longer he can manage to hold on though. I have a feeling we'll be saying goodbye to him this week, as much as I don't want to see him go yet.

hey, you guys have to give anthony props! i mean, he lasted till the final four! that's got to mean that he's good! (w/c he really is, in the first place) and i wasnt all that shocked when anthony got the least number of votes that week, it was just his time to go. sniff. luckily, i have him on tape! so i can watch his adorable self over and over and over again. :) but u know, if u watch that episode again, (and again and again) u'll notice that anthony has more good comments than carrie! in fact, he's the only person who had good comments on both his songs!! its just that he doesnt have that many fans. :( i'm a fan! but i cant vote :(
i'd like to say an "i-told-you-so" to anyone out there who laughed when i said anthony was getting hotter...um...i mean, buffer as the weeks went by. he confirmed it himself! he works out twice a day at the gym. i guess there's not really much to do when you're an american idol finalist!
AI fans out there, i doubt u havnt seen this yet, but for those who havnt, check out the jaded journalist interviews on www.idolonfox.com. theyr a real riot! especially anthony's :)
Welcome back Nicole! I definitely give Anthony props. He improved a lot over the weeks and he did much much better than Carrie on "If You Don't Know Me By Now," so it was sad that he got kicked off when he did. Oh well. I think with the right marketing and creative team behind him, he could have a good post-American Idol career ahead of him. Just like Constantine (whose band's CD is already sold out in the US, I hear).
good to be back, ms. lim! so, are U planning to buy his band's cd? i heard there's not much crooning, but plenty of head-banging.
I think I just might. ;) I love him any which way, crooning, screaming, head-banging, standing still... heck, if it were a CD of him BREATHING I'd probably still buy it. As long as he's on the cover. Haha.
